Ballet
Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms and it provides the grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Early ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, turnout, terminology and ballet positions.
Dancers will begin class at the barre, then move to centre floor work and close the class with across the floor combinations. Ballet is the most disciplined and important form of dance for all serious dancers. Each grade in ballet builds on technique and skill.

Tap
One of the oldest dance forms in this country. Students are taught basic rhythms, timing, and foot co ordination which build throughout the grades into complicated dance combinations and routines done to various types of music with various rhythms and styles.

Modernjazz
A style of theatrical dance that rejects the limitations of classical ballet and favour movement deriving from the expression of inner feeling.
Modern starts with basic exercises that builds up strength and flexibility in the correct parts of the body which then advance throughout the grades into a more performance based level. Modern is used to choreograph big productions and shows and can be performed in many different styles. A few examples of where modern is used is in the production of Cats, Hair spray and Saturday night fever.
